Thank You Lord for the 2 most beautiful blessings that You have given, which have thought me the [...] Lately, we barely update Joan’s blog with her stories. As we start to move to Bintaro, we have to adapt with many things. For Joan, moving to Bintaro means breathing easily, which makes her more comfortable. Although, compare with Apartement, living in a house like at Bintaro, made Joan expose to new insects like mosquitos, flies, [...] Last week, Joan took a blood test and EEG test. Joan routinely took blood test, because the medicines that she take is quite strong. The blood test will show whether there is side effects to her liver and kidneys. The result is good, both her liver and kidneys function normally. This time the test is quite [...] Note: this posting is taken from our witness during Joan’s 6th Birthday service. In many ways, the song that we sing in this service really represent what our family feel, especially on Joan’s upbringing. In my opportunities, we often asked God, “What is Your plan, Lord?” Why can’t we have “standard” concerns like other parents on their child’s [...] Praise the Lord, He make our little party on Saturday went smoothly. This party is a combination of house-warming for our new house at Bintaro, and Joan’s 6th birthday. We invited all close relatives, both from my family and Eva’s. Even though we say “close” relatives, in total we invited more than 100 people [...] We are very happy today. This morning, when checking Joan’s condition, Dr Lindana said that Joan can go home today. She only need to take one more antibiotics infusion, and after that the infusion will be taken off and Joan can go home. She still need to take 1 more physiotherapy. After that, she can take [...] I’m very sorry that only now we have the time to post about the Glenn Doman training that we took 2 weeks ago. Joan is still hospitalized, but she is getting better, so I post this while waiting for her sleeping. The training that we took is the most basic training of a series of training provided [...] Today is Joan’s third day at the hospital. Joan was hospitalized on Tuesday night. Joan had fever from Wednesday last week, and we had brought her to Dr Dwi last Saturday. Dr Dwi gave antibiotics and medication for her cough, but Joan still get fever. We want to take her to Dr Dwi again on Wednesday, [...] This is our travel notes to Singapore, attending Glenn Doman training for parents with brain injured child. First day is our traveling day to Singapore. We took AirAsia at 6.55am, so we have to wake up at 4am and go to airport by 5am. Joan was awaken when we are leaving, so we pray together first, cuddle [...] |
