Microsoft and Yahoo! announced a long term agreement between the two companies. The agreement covers search engine and advertisement. The main points of the agreement:

Terms of the agreement is 10 years
Microsoft acquires exclusive license for 10 years of Yahoo! search engine technology, and enables Microsoft to integrate it with its own.

Twitter account at Google Docs got hacked

Not really breaking news, but still interesting. A hacker managed to gain the password of a personal email of a Twitter employee, and from there, managed to access the Google Docs account. From the Google Docs, the hacker managed to obtain internal Twitter documents, which later on he published.

A surprising move from Microsoft: officially, Microsoft released source code of a Linux driver to be included in Linux kernel. Microsoft Live Services Plug-in for Moodle

Microsoft recently released a plug-in to integrate Live Services with Moodle. Moodle is an open source application to create e-learning website, developed using PHP. You can see the integration demo at Channel 9.
